Tuna with a Yogurt Twist
There are a lot of healthy reasons to skip the mayonnaise and here is a biggie –
- One tablespoon of mayonnaise has about 94 calories
- One tablespoon of plain yogurt has about 9 calories
Reason enough? Try is in your tuna, egg salad… you get the picture. Here is one of my favorites.
What You’ll Need:
1 can wild caught tuna, drained
2 Tbsp minced onion
1 Tbsp capers
1 Tbsp dill pickle relish
1 Tbsp diced jalapeno relish
1/4 cup Greek or plain yogurt
1/2 tsp Dijon mustard
1/4 tsp Italian seasoning
Dash of black pepper
Prep
Combine all ingredients together in a small bowl. Mix well. Serve on a salad, bread, you name it!
Serves 1-2.
